I work alongside MDs, founders and senior leaders in delivery-led businesses where the work keeps moving, but leadership capacity is under sustained pressure.

Most of my work happens quietly behind the scenes - helping leaders reduce operational, people and decision-making load without disrupting delivery or unsettling teams.

This is not consultancy from a distance. I integrate into the business as practical senior support: helping steady pressure points, move important work forward, and create breathing room where too much responsibility has ended up sitting with too few people.

My background is in events, creative and delivery-led organisations where timelines are tight, expectations are high, and leaders are often carrying far more than is visible externally.

My approach is simple and pragmatic. I work alongside leaders, not over them -integrating quietly into the business to take ownership of agreed areas and create breathing room at senior level.

Support is always tailored to the organisation and the moment it is in. Sometimes that means getting into the detail; sometimes it means providing senior perspective and challenge; often it means carrying work that would otherwise sit with already-stretched leaders.

The priority is always the same: reduce pressure, stabilise delivery and create enough capacity for leaders to think, decide and lead without constant fire-fighting.

I bring more than 30 years of experience across operational leadership, embedded senior support and organisational change within events, creative and delivery-led businesses.

My background includes board-level operational leadership inside agencies, long-term embedded support for founders and MDs, and practical experience helping businesses navigate periods of growth, pressure and transition.

Alongside this, I’ve worked in education and leadership development - but always with a strong focus on practical application rather than theory alone.

The story behind the name

Blue Phoenix reflects the type of work I do with leaders and organisations.

Much of my work happens during periods of pressure, growth or transition — moments where businesses need steadiness, clarity and renewed capacity rather than disruption.

The phoenix is not about dramatic reinvention.

It represents resilience, renewal and strengthening from the inside out:
restoring stability, rebuilding confidence and helping leaders regain the headspace needed to move forward well.

What Ultimately Matters to Me

What matters most to me is helping leaders build successful businesses without sacrificing their health, relationships or sense of perspective in the process.

Many capable leaders become trapped carrying operational, emotional and decision-making weight that the business has gradually concentrated around them.

Over time, this creates pressure not just for the leader, but across the wider organisation.

My work is about helping reduce that pressure in practical ways - creating more stability, clearer leadership capacity and stronger conditions for sustainable performance.
